ICC International Integrity & Anti-corruption Conference 2020, Wednesday 9 December 2020, 14.00 –17.00 hrs, online

On Wednesday 9 December 2020, UN Anti-corruption day, the 5th edition of ICC’s International Integrity & Anti-corruption Conference will be held. Although we regret that this year we will not be able to welcome you to the usual vibrant conference at The Hague’s Peace Palace, we would be delighted to welcome you to this year’s online debate. The conference aims to inspire, exchange ideas and further shape agendas with a focus on ethics, sustainability and the steps that governments, businesses and individuals should take to make change happen. Participants from around the globe are welcome to join us in an exciting and insightful debate on this year’s central theme:

‘Ethics and Progress, Towards Conscious Capitalism

The year 2020 has created a new level of awareness, the corona virus functioning as a contrast dye, when it comes to showing us the vulnerabilities of our societies and economies. It has also shown what can happen if ethics are not integral to the way individuals act, organizations operate and societies function.

‘Build back better’ has become the new mantra for post-Covid-19 hopes and ambitions. As people, companies and governments are coming to terms with the crisis and starting to consider the post-pandemic world many are realizing that going back to how things were is neither possible nor desirable.

Against this background, this year’s online Integrity Conference aims to link the concepts of integrity and progress. What is the role of ethics in the desired paradigm shift from the current profit driven system towards a purpose driven sustainable alternative? Thought leaders, from various backgrounds, share their insights and views.

Target audience
Executives and experts from both the public and private sector, academia and NGOs, anybody engaged in integrity, anti-corruption, sustainability and responsible business conduct. This year we will experience the first online edition and guarantee it will be interesting given the low threshold for participants from around the globe to join us in this online conference. Do not wait and secure your place today!
